American Buggy Association

ABA meets the first Thursday of selected months at a local restaurant in the San Fernando Valley or Simi Valley. Starting at 6:30 PM. See schedule for meeting dates. Applicant attendance requirements are two meetings and two outings. Yearly membership dues of $55 are payable every January, this includes $30 for CORVA membership.

Treasurers Report: ABA has $1,810.40 as of today. 

Correspondence: None

Newspaper: The Newsletter and the WEB Page are doing fine.
ABA Store: No report.
Equipment: All equipment is returned to Jeff.
Health and Welfare: Scott and Natilla Swanson are expecting.
Bob Swanson shoulder still has problems.
CORVA Rep: The Snowy Plover fencing has been removed and the beach is now open to mile post 9. 
Historian: Not present. 
Old Business: Plaques nne to be ordered.
Judy will check on the availability of New Horizons for the Christmas Party.
New Business: The ABA 2004 officer elections were held and the results are as follows:

Garage Sale November 15 

The Garage sale started off a little rainy but then it stopped and slowly people began to show up. We had lots of stuff but it was a little slow compared to other sales, not as many people come out when the weather is cool and misting. The sale went very well and made $305.00. Thanks to all that brought stuff, junk and good things for the sale. A special thanks to Barbara Ludeking for helping me with the sale from setup to cleanup. All leftover things were donated to charity.

Dumont Dunes November 27-31     Thursday thru Sunday

We will be camped at the usual place at the far north end of the dunes

Thursday will be Runs.

Friday we will have slalom races, adults in the morning, kids in the afternoon and the raffle after dinner.

Saturday we will have a poker run in the morning.

Sunday will be more runs.

How to get there:

Take the I15 to Baker

Exit at Baker

Take Hwy 127 toward Death Valley

Go 35 miles

Turn Right on the dirt road to Dumont Dunes

Follow the road to the dunes

Turn Left at the dunes

We will be camped at the "old spot" at the left end of the dunes.

Kids Holiday Party December 11      Thursday

The Kids Holiday Party will be at Chuck Cheeses in Fallbrook Square starting at 6:00pm. Bring a present for Santa to give to your kids.

Adults Holiday Party December 12      Friday

Friday,   December 12  At New Horizons facility 15725 Parthenia St.

The cost will be 35.00 per person

It will be No Host Bar.  We will have a Live Band for dancing.  This is the same location
as last year and it is very nice.  We will have a large room to ourselves.
Lets get as many to come as possible.
