American Buggy Association

ABA meets the first Thursday of selected months at a local restaurant in the San Fernando Valley or Simi Valley. Starting at 6:30 PM. See schedule for meeting dates. Applicant attendance requirements are two meetings and two outings. Yearly membership dues of $55 are payable every January, this includes $30 for CORVA membership.

Treasurers Report: ABA has $2125.29 as of today.

Committee Reports

Newspaper: Outing reports 
ABA Store: Not Present.
Equipment: Wayne returned all the equipment back to Jeff.
Health and Welfare: Eliot and Kim Fisher are expecting in December
Terry and Faith tied the knot on September 18, they also became grandparents too. Melissa had a baby boy Oct 6th. Ethan Blaze Rivera, born at 7:13am, 6 pounds 10 ounces, 18 and ½ inches tall. Great looking boy with a full head of black hair!
CORVA Rep: (Terry) We need to start planning for Truck Haven.
Historian: Wayne still has a photo album for scanning.

Old Business: 

Plaques need to be ordered.
Christmas Party is reserved for Dec. 4th (MARK YOUR CALANDERS), Emails and flyers will be sent out.

New Business: 

Raul Ayala (applicant) has made the 2-outing requirement and asked to wave the 2-meeting requirement as he has school on Thursday nights. It was approved and he was voted in as ABA member # 176. 

Wayne Berg proposed that the club spend a maximum of 125$ and purchase 100 soccer cones for use at Dumont and other events, a vote was taken and approved of the expense.

October Outing report         

Oceano Dunes :

Pismo beach yet again provided everyone with great weather and fast riding. The afternoon breeze picked up leaving smooth dunes in the afternoon and morning. It was a small ABA turn out but we all had fun as you can see in the pictures below.

November Meeting

Meeting November 4, 2004      Thursday

Agenda: Elections, Garage Sale, Dumont & Holiday Dinner Dance.

The meeting will start at 6:30pm, at Carrow's Restaurant Chatsworth,

located at 20557 Devonshire Street Chatsworth.

November Outing

DUMONT DUNES

We will be camped at the usual place at the far north end of the dunes

Thursday will be Runs.

Friday we will have slalom races, adults in the morning, kids in the afternoon and the raffle after dinner.

Saturday we will have a poker run in the morning.

Sunday will be more runs.

How to get there:

Take the I15 to Baker

Exit at Baker

Take Hwy 127 toward Death Valley

Go 35 miles

Turn Right on the dirt road to Dumont Dunes

Follow the road to the dunes

Turn Left at the dunes

We will be camped at the "old spot" at the left end of the dunes.

Adults Holiday Party December 4      Saturday

Saturday,   December 4  At New Horizons facility 15725 Parthenia St.

The cost will be 35.00 per person

It will be BYO for drinks.  We will have a Live Band for dancing.  This is the same location
as last year and it is very nice.  We will have a large room to ourselves.
Lets get as many to come as possible.  

Kids Holiday Party December 16      Thursday

The Kids Holiday Party will be at Chuck Cheese's in Fallbrook Square starting at 6:00pm. Bring a present for Santa to give to your kids.

Truckhaven CORVA Poker Run 

    January 15 & 16, 2005      Saturday & Sunday
