American Buggy Association

ABA meets the first Thursday of selected months at a local restaurant in the San Fernando Valley or Simi Valley. Starting at 6:30 PM. See schedule for meeting dates. Applicant attendance requirements are two meetings and two outings. Yearly membership dues of $55 are payable every January, this includes $30 for CORVA membership.

Treasurers Report: The Expense budget was presented and approved.
Correspondence: None.

Committee Reports

Newspaper: see the WEB site. 
ABA Store: Scott will be picking up the Store from Rob.
Equipment: Wayne will bring most of the equipment to Jeff's shop.
Health and Welfare: Eliot and Kim Fisher had Emma Rose Fisher Nov. 28,

She weighed 7 lbs 13 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long at birth.

Rick Fisher has cancer and is getting chemo and is doing  GREAT! 

CORVA Rep: Rick Fisher reported that Truckhaven was a great success, it raised $11,000.00 for CORVA, Wayne won the grand prize. The CORVA convention is coming up in Sacramento.
Historian: Wayne still has a photo album for scanning.

Old Business: 

Plaques need to be ordered.
 

New Business: 

The Holiday Party was a great success.

Wayne is going to purchase a furnace, giving him the capability to cast plaques.

March Outing report         

Both Outings were canceled

 Garage Sale :

The was going to be delayed to rain that was forecasted to be Saturday, But when we got up Saturday morning there were no clouds. At 9:00 Barbara Ludeking called and we decided to go ahead and setup and have the sale. Right after  that Gerry Bates called about dropping his stuff off. By 10:00am the sale was on. later in the day Liana Fazinden dropped off some more stuff and within 20 minutes every thing she brought was sold. We cleaned up at 3:00 making $237.00.

Friday April 8 -  For those of you getting into town early, Jim and Kathy Shea would liketo host a Happy Hour Luau at their house begining around 6:30. Wear your best Hilo Hatties' Aloha shirt or mumu. They live south of the Strip just off Las Vegas Blvd., 11636 Autunno Drive. Phone: 702 914 8192

Saturday, April 9 - 1 p.m family picnic/BBQ at Duck Creek Park. It is close to hotels on the south side of the Strip. Directions will follow or be left at your hotel.

Saturday night - Drinks, dinner and dancing at the Monte Carlo. If anyone would like to dine elsewhere, please join us for drinks and dancing later.

Sunday, April 10 - Brunch buffet or freeday. We'll play it by ear.

Just a reminder, if you are bringing children and are concerned about a babysitter,
Peggy's oldest daughter, who is 14, has volunteered to babysit. She's a pro at it.
